Spectrex launches SharpEye 40/40D and C series flame detectors, which reportedly provide optimum protection against hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas res, hydroxyl and hydrogen res, and metal and inorganic res. The new detectors feature QuadSense technology and provide early warning of res at long distances and with high immunity to false alarms.
The new series can be used in a variety of industries and applications including oil and gas installations and pipelines, petrochemical and chemical plants, storage tank farms, power generation facilities, fuel and gas processing and storage facilities, refinery hydrogenation, fertilizer plants, transportation, waste management facilities, pharmaceutical industry, hazardous materials storage areas, food processing, hydroxyl production and storage, aerospace industry, explosives and munitions.
